1History

The department was established in 1947. It was headed by T.O. Yaroshevska (1948-1972), associate professors V.V. Pyzhov (1972-1980), O.D. Makhonin (1981-1992), V.V. Jump (1992-2002).

For many years of its existence, the staff of the department included famous specialists in physical education and sports, in particular: Dr. Sc., Prof. V.M.Koryagin; Assoc. Prof., Honored Coach of Ukraine P.I. Trofimyshyn; winner of international boxing competitions, master of sports of international class Y.P. Torovsky; participant of the Olympic Games in Mexico City P.A. Andreev. Under their leadership, students became winners of many national and international competitions. Particular success during training was achieved by: Master of Sports of International Athletics Class Leonid Wilgota;World Champion in Athletics, Master of Sports Victor Gural; Ukrainian boxing champion, master of sports Vladimir Bodnya; kickboxing winner Victor Zbarsky.

For the last decade, staff have been working on the regional scientific issue "Improving the educational process of physical education in universities". Scientific researches are directed on improvement of educational process of the younger generation:

  • knowledge of the basics of the technique of implementation;
  • knowledge and adherence to the basics of a healthy lifestyle;
  • achievement of high sports results in the chosen field of sport.

The results of scientific research are reflected in articles, abstracts of papers at regional and international conferences. In recent years, more than 20 scientific articles have been published in Ukrainian and foreign journals. The teachers of the department manage the research work of students. In recent years, about 30 students have made presentations at university scientific and methodological conferences.

Physical education classes are provided for students of I-IV years of study. An important role in the educational process is given to the introduction of national sports. Training sessions are conducted from approximately 20 kinds of sports activities.

Стажування в Університеті сталого розвитку м. Еберсвальде викладачів кафедри іноземних мов

IMG 9977В рамках міжнародної академічної мобільності за програмою Еразмус+ (напрям КА1) та за результатами конкурсного відбору, проведеного спільно НЛТУ України та EUSD, у період з 10 по 24 листопада 2019 року завідувач кафедри іноземних мов доц. Ванівська О. М. та старший викладач кафедри іноземних мов Преснер Р. Б. перебували на стажуванні в Університеті сталого розвитку м. Еберсвальде (Німеччина).

Метою стажування було:

  • ознайомлення з організацією навчального процесу в Університеті сталого розвитку м. Еберсвальде;
  • вивчення досвіду викладання дисципліни «Ділова іноземна мова» з метою впровадження отриманих знань та навичок у практику викладання в НЛТУ України;
  • оновлення та удосконалення теоретичних і практичних знань з методики викладання іноземних мов;
  • ознайомлення з працями провідних фахівців Мовного центру Університету сталого розвитку м. Еберсвальде;
  • удосконалення професійної підготовки шляхом поглиблення й розширення професійних знань, умінь і навичок;
  • розширення контактів з науково-педагогічними працівниками Університету сталого розвитку м. Еберсвальде для майбутньої співпраці.

в Університеті сільськогосподарських наук та ветеринарної медицини Клуж-Напока

Конкурс оголошується на здобуття таких стипендій у весняному семестрі 2019-2020 н.р.:

  • 1 стипендія для навчання студентів протягом семестру
  • 1 стипендія для проходження практики студентами тривалістю 2-5 місяці
  • 1 стипендія для стажування науково-педагогічних працівників тривалістю 5 днів
  • 1 стипендія для науково-педагогічних працівників для викладання тривалістю 5 днів (мінімум 8 год викладання)

Навчання та стажування фінансується за рахунок програми Євросоюзу Еразмус+ у такому розмірі:

  • грант для студентів: 800 євро / місяць
  • витрати на подорож: 180 євро
  • грант для працівників: 140 євро / день

Мова навчання/стажування – англійська або румунська.

Тривалість весняного семестру в Університеті сільськогосподарських наук та ветеринарної медицини Клуж-Напока (період навчання): 24 лютого – 05 липня 2020 р.

Програми навчання для студентів НЛТУ України в Університеті сільськогосподарських наук та ветеринарної медицини Клуж-Напока:

До участі в конкурсі допускаються студенти 2-3 курсу денної форми, які навчаються за спеціальністю «Екологія». При формуванні Угоди навчання (додаток І) студентам потрібно вказати заплановану відповідність перезарахування дисциплін з програми навчання Університету Клуж-Напока в НЛТУ України за обраний семестр мобільності. При формуванні Угоди навчання враховувати дисципліни з бакалаврської програми Університету Клуж-Напока з різних семестрів: 2/4/6 семестрів за посиланням. При заповненні Угоди консультуватись з координаторами академічної мобільності у навчально-наукових інститутах.

До участі в конкурсі допускаються студенти 5-го курсу денної форми, які навчаються за такими спеціальностями: «Економіка» (освітні програми «Економіка довкілля і природних ресурсів», «Економіка підприємства») «Менеджмент» (освітні програми «Менеджмент організацій і адміністрування», «Менеджмент зовнішньоекономічної діяльності»), «Облік і оподаткування».

До участі в конкурсі допускаються:

студенти 4 курсу за такими спеціальностями: «Економіка» (освітні програми «Економіка довкілля і природних ресурсів», «Економіка підприємства») «Менеджмент» (освітні програми «Менеджмент організацій і адміністрування», «Менеджмент зовнішньоекономічної діяльності»), «Облік і оподаткування», денна форма навчання,

  студенти 5 курсу за такими спеціальностями: «Екологія», «Економіка» (освітні програми «Економіка довкілля і природних ресурсів», «Економіка підприємства»), денна форма навчання,

студенти 3-5 курсу повної форми навчання за такими спеціальностями: «Лісове господарство» (в т.ч. освітніх програм «Мисливське господарство» i «Лісова інженерія»), «Садово-паркове господарство», «Архітектура та містобудування» (освітня програма «Ландшафтна архітектура»), денна форма навчання,

студенти 2-3 курсу скороченої форми навчання за такими спеціальностями: «Лісове господарство» (в т.ч. освітніх програм «Мисливське господарство» i «Лісова інженерія»), «Садово-паркове господарство», денна форма навчання.

Студенти останніх курсів за вказаними спеціальностями допускаются за умови, що статус студента НЛТУ України повинен зберігатися впродовж всього терміну практики в Університеті Клуж Напока.

При формуванні Угоди про проходження практики (додаток ІІ) студентам потрібно вказати заплановану програму практики та дати, кількість ECTS кредитів, знання, навички та компетентності, що будуть здобуті під час практики та плани моніторингу/оцінювання (компонент Before the mobility в Угоді). При заповненні Угоди консультуватись з науковими керівниками/координаторами академічної мобільності у навчально-наукових інститутах.

 

Стажування та викладання наукового-педагогічних працівників в Університеті сільськогосподарських наук та ветеринарної медицини Клуж-Напока

Умови участі:

  • Пріоритетна галузь для стажування/викладання (згідно ISCED-2013): 08 Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Veterinary
  • Проект Угоди мобільності для стажування (додаток ІІІ) повинен містити інформацію про факультет/кафедру, на якій заплановане проходження стажування, основні види діяльності під час стажування,  відповідність мобільності пріоритетам і завданням, передбачених «Стратегією міжнародної діяльності Національного лісотехнічного університету України на період до 2020 року в контексті інтернаціоналізації вищої освіти України» (див. Додатки)  та очікувані результати стажування.
  • Проект Угоди мобільності з метою викладання (додаток ІV) повинен містити інформацію про факультет/кафедру, на якій заплановане викладання, програму викладання, відповідність мобільності пріоритетам і завданням, передбачених «Стратегією міжнародної діяльності Національного лісотехнічного університету України на період до 2020 року в контексті інтернаціоналізації вищої освіти України» та очікувані результати.
  • Умовою допуску до участі у конкурсному відборі на здобуття стипендії для стажування науково-педагогічних працівників, у яких сумарний обсяг мобільності зі стажування складає понад 50 календарних днів, є наявність розробленого ними рукопису конспекту лекцій англійською мовою з відповідної дисципліни, затвердженого Науково-методичною радою університету (рішення Науково-методичної ради від 14 листопада 2019 р.).

Зобов’язання науково-педагогічного працівника після повернення зі стажування:

  • прозвітувати про стажування на засіданні кафедри та Вченої ради відповідного ННІ (копію звіту подати у відділ міжнародних зв’язків);
  • опублікувати на сайті НЛТУ України стислий звіт про стажування за програмою Еразмус+;
  • обовʼязкове розроблення дисципліни для викладання англійською мовою в НЛТУ України/ керівництво практикою студентів Університету Клуж Напока румунською мовою під час їхнього перебування в НЛТУ України.

До участі в конкурсі допускаються лише ті кандидати, які надали повний пакет документів.

ПОРЯДОК ПРОВЕДЕННЯ КОНКУРСУ

  1. Співбесіда (тільки для студентів) з презентацією тривалістю 5-7 хв. іноземною мовою (мовою навчання/стажування) на довільну тему за фахом. Співбесіда відбудеться у вівторок 24 грудня 2019 року о 10.00 в залі засідань Вченої ради (адміністративний корпус, 2-й поверх, кім. 27).
  2. Засідання конкурсної комісії НЛТУ України з розгляду поданих документів. Складання протоколу засідання із загальним рейтингом всіх претендентів та номінаційних листів.

Рейтинг студентів визначається конкурсною комісією НЛТУ України на основі таких критеріїв:

а) рівень компетентності, мотивації та комунікації за фахом іноземною мовою, продемонстрований під час співбесіди (50%);

б) середній рівень успішності за час навчання (50%).

 

Рейтинг науково-педагогічних працівників визначається конкурсною комісією НЛТУ України на основі таких критеріїв:

  • Відповідність запропонованої угоди мобільності пріоритетам і завданням, передбачених «Стратегією міжнародної діяльності Національного лісотехнічного університету України на період до 2020 року в контексті інтернаціоналізації вищої освіти України».
  • Рівень кваліфікації науково-педагогічного працівника.
  1. Заповнення онлайн-аплікаційних форм студентами та НПП, які відповідно до рішення конкурсної комісії НЛТУ України отримали номінаційні листи.
  2. Прийняття рішення Університетом сільськогосподарських наук та ветеринарної медицини Клуж-Напока.
  3. Оприлюднення відділом міжнародних зв’язків результатів відбору на сайті НЛТУ України та інформування учасників конкурсу.
  4. Тристороннє погодження Угоди про навчання/проходження практики (для студентів) або Угоди мобільності для стажування/Угоди мобільності з метою викладання (для НПП, див. Додатки).
  5. Оформлення закордонного відрядження згідно з розділом 7 «Положення про академічну мобільність учасників освітнього процесу в Державному вищому навчальному закладі “Національний лісотехнічний університет України”».

The Department of Forest Planting operates at the University since 1951 under the name “Department of Forest Planting and Soil Science”. Over the next fifty years, the department had some reorganization changes. In its current form, the Department of Forest Planting and Forest Breeding has been operating since 1st of July 2000. The department consists of a section of forest planting (2 professors, 3 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer) and a section of forest breeding (2 associate professors). The department has a research laboratory for forest genetics and an educational research and production laboratory of modern technologies of forest cultural production.

The main research area of the department is the search of a solution of theoretical and applied problems of increasing the productivity of the economic and environmental value of artificial afforestation in the field of forest planting. During the formation of the department (1951-1963), the research work was carried out under the leadership of head of the department assoc. M.I.Kaluzhsky. On the issue of creating highly productive, valuable and fast-growing crops in Western Ukraine, prof. M.Kh. Osmola, assoc. T.M. Brodovich, assoc. E.I. Zhuravska, assistants M.I. Yuzkiv, V.P. Lavrov. The possibilities of mechanizing forestry works were studied by M.I. Kaluzhsky and E.V. Vitvitsky, the author of the original construction of a motor-drill for mountain conditions.

During 1963-1973 under the guidance of prof. G.O.Kharitonova considerable work was carried out to determine the optimal doses and efficiency of various types of herbicides and the technology of their use for caring for forest crops. Assoc. O.S. Melnik studied soil erosion and developed land reclamation measures in the northern part of the Volhynian-Podolian Upland. Since 1966, the Department has been practicing the wide attraction of students to scientific work by organizing research expeditions. Such work has gained particular intensity since 1970 on the initiative of then head of the department, assoc. M.I. Kalinin. With the participation of students, under the guidance of teachers and employees of the department, from one to three scientific expeditions were organized annually, consisting of 18-25 students. The scientists of the department during this period developed topics on the introduction of hazelnuts, walnuts, edible chestnuts in forest crops and planting.

Since 1980, begins the development of the technology of firmness of forests to winds in the Carpathians.

During 1973-1988, forest planting studies are carried out under the guidance of prof. M.I. Kalinin. This period, under his leadership, formed a new scientific direction - forest rooting, the subject of study of which is the patterns of development and formation of root systems of the main forest-forming species in clean and mixed stands in a wide age range with the aim of creating a scientifically based base for increasing forest productivity. In practical forestry, recommendations are applied on the creation of firmness of forests to winds in mountainous conditions, the cultivation of stands on the principles of forest change, etc. In 1992 was introduced a new discipline “Forest root knowledge” into the training program for forest planting students. Within the framework of the direction, three doctoral and ten candidate dissertations were prepared and defended, 7 monographs were published, 4 studies 4 textbooks and 5 study guides, 4 copyright certificates and a patent for an invention were obtained, more than 250 scientific articles were published.

Staff of the department teach students of forestry faculty, part-time students, students of faculty of pre-university and postgraduate training the following disciplines: forest genetics, forest planting, forest breeding, forest melioration, modern technologies of forest cultural production.

The educational process is fully provided with textbooks, teaching aids and lecture notes published by the scientific and pedagogical specialists of the department.

The most significant achievements of the department are:

- preparation and defense of the thesis for the degree of Doctor of Sciences (K.A. Tatarinov, S.V. Shevchenko, M.I. Kalinin, M.M. Guz, Yu.M. Debrinyuk) and 42 PhD theses;

- publication of 18 monographs and more than 1450 scientific articles;

- publication of 18 textbooks and teaching aids with the recomendation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

- protection of scientific developments of the department employees by 9 copyright certificates and invention patents;

- graduation of more than 2850 bachelors, engineers, specialists and masters of forestry.

From the beginning of the organization of the Department of Forest Planting, its heads were: Assoc. M.K.Bikov (1951-1952, Department of Forest Cultures and Soil Science), Assoc. M.I. Kaluzhsky (1945-1954, Department of forest planting and mechanization of forestry operations at LPI-LSP, since 1961 - Department of forest planting, forest protection and mechanization of forestry operations, 1952-1963 - LLTI), prof. S.V.Shevchenko (Ad hoc, 1963), Prof. G.O. Kharitonov (1963-1973 pp., Since 1972 - Department of Forest Cultures and Land Reclamation), prof. M. I. Modern scientific researches of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department is concentrated within the priority area of development of science and technology of Ukraine "Environmental Protection".

The research of scientific and pedagogical staff focused on solving the following problems:

  1. Selection basis of the reproduction of the genetic potential of Gymnospermae

 and Angiospermae of wood introducers by in vitro reproduction.

  1. Development of technologies for accelerated growth of wood pulp in plantations based on the use of plant growth regulators.
  2. Researching of the productivity of coniferous and deciduous introducers in artificial forest plantations of the Western region of Ukraine.
  3. Research of main features of growth and development of promising new species of forest introducers.
  4. Research of main features of the growth and development of planting material of forest and ornamental species in open and closed ground conditions.
  5. Research of main morphological and stereometric features of the structure of the root systems of the main forest-forming species of woody vegetation.

Project deals with the features of stem wood growth and accumulation by artificial plantings of the studied species — prototypes of plantation forest plantations. The forms of spruce, larch and Pseudotsuga behind the bark, branching, and the form of seed scales in relation to forestry-taxation indicators in pure and mixed stands were studied. The course of growth of conifers by medium models, the onset of the period of their quantitative ripeness, and the dynamics of the media are studied the dynamics of the average increment of wood during the age periods in the sugars and chest of the Western Forest-Steppe and adjacent territories.

The conceptual foundations of a cyclic method of growing plantation forest plantations on the basis of breed mines are developed. The principles of site selection, methods of processing and use of planting material are given. A technology has been developed for the creation, cultivation and operation of plantation stands. The volumes of wood pulp production in the age range are calculated, the age of the main forest plantations cutting is justified.

The expediency of transferring to a limited area of the forest fund (20%) to targeted wood cultivation for industrial needs has been proved. In this regard, in the territory of the Western Forest-Steppe in the appropriate types of forest conditions it is advisable to create annually forest plantations on 0.5% of the forested area (4.2 thousand ha).

The effect of a number of plant growth regulators (PGR) at various doses of their application on the accelerated production of high-quality gardening material has been clarified; the influence of certain elements of the technology of creating artificial stands on the reduction of the timing of the production of wood phytomass for industrial needs and as a regenerative energy source has been studied; the feasibility of partial replacement of fossil fuels with wood raw, which is restored at certain (relatively short) time intervals, is substantiated; it is indicated that the introduction of energy plantations from willow and poplar will allow rational use of waterlogged lands.

Was established resource potential of plantation forest stands with the participation of fast-growing species - Picea abies [L.] Karst., Larix decidua Mill., Larix kempferi Carr., Quercus borealis Michx., and clones of poplar (MAX-4, MAX-5, Oxford, AF2, AF8).

A conceptual approach to the cultivation of wood in plantations based on the principles of breed mowing, focused on intensive forest cultivation with the rational use of natural potential forces of nature, is proposed. He is ready to obtain significant volumes of wood in a relatively short time without the use of expensive methods of forest cultivation and partial cost recovery due to intermediate use.

The resource potential of plantation forest stands with the participation of rapidly growing species - Larix decidua Mill., Larix kempferi Carr., Larix eurolepis H., Pseudotsuga menziesii [Mirb.] Franco, as well as species and clones of willow and poplar - Salix purpurea L., S. triandra L., S. viminalis L., Tordis (S. schwerinii × S. viminalis), Inger (S. triandra x S. viminalis), Populus deltoides x Populus piramydalis.

Institute was established on the 1st of March 2014 on the basis of Faculty of Forestry. Latter it had been a part of the Lviv Forestry Engineering Institute since 1949. Prof. Stepan Myklush has been leading the faculty since 2003 and starting from the 1st of March 2014 has been the Director of the Institute.
Sufficient technical base of institute, computer rooms and libraries give an opportunity to conduct teaching of high quality specialists. Modern technical tools are widely used in educational process. There are 8 departmental scientific and research laboratories. Students are conducting educational practices and field work in Stradch Educational and Productional Forest Enterprise, Nature Reserve “Roztochchia”, Botanical Garden of Ukrainian National Forestry University, permanent forest and ecology establishments and other forestry- or park-related enterprises of Ukraine.
The scientific achievements of institute employees are widely introduced in practice. These researches are aiming at increasing productivity and biological stability of forests, improving forest inventory and rational use of forests.

Departments have subsidiaries on the base of Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute of Silviculture in Mountainous Regions, Institute of Ecology of the Carpathian Mountains, Enterprises of Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Offices of Forestry and Hunting.

Educational and research processes are secured by experienced pedagogues, particularly by 17 professors (Doctors of Science) and 44 associate professors (PhDs). The pedagogues of the institute have prepared and published educational textbooks and accessories for the majority of educational courses.

The scientific achievements of institute employees are widely introduced in practice. These researches are aiming at increasing productivity and biological stability of forests, improving forest inventory and rational use of forests.

Professor Stepan Myklush leads the subcommission 205 Forestry of Scientific and Methodological Commission of Agrarian Science and Veterinary of High education sector of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Doctor of Science Yaroslav Henyk – Deputy of Head of subcommission 206 «Park Gardening». The members of these subcommissions elaborated the standards of high education for specialties 205 «Forestry» and 206 «Park Gardening» for bachelor’s, master’s and philosophy doctor degrees.

The scientists of institute cooperate with many Educational and Research Institutions from Austria, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, the USA, Hungary, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, etc. Our students have a chance to study master course «Euroforester» in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Erasmus+ program is also available for our students to join the study process of such educational institutions, as Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, The University of Applied Forest Sciences Rottenburg, University of Valladolid, etc. Each year since 2007, 15-20 master students of the institute are
involved in two-week educational field trips to various forestry enterprises in Germany.

Рада лісового сектору Львівщини: питання і відповіді

У Національному лісотехнічному університеті України (НЛТУ) наприкінці листопада цього року відбувся круглий стіл, на якому члени Ради лісового сектору Львівської області обмінялися думками щодо нагальних питань та готувалися до проведення офіційних засідання згаданої Ради.

Захід не висвітлювався у ЗМІ, але важливо розповісти які питання турбують безпосередніх учасників цього сектору економіки, представників органів влади, а також науковців та експертів (саме практиків!) галузі.

Офіційна назва круглого столу: «Політико-економічний аналіз лісового господарства стосовно меблевого та деревообробного секторів України». Захід був організований науковцями НЛТУ в рамках економічної програми конкурентоспроможності USAID «Competitive Economy Program». Програма покликана проаналізувати стан управління лісами: від лісозаготівель і ланцюгів поставок, до питань конкуренції та торгівлі. Завдання – з’ясувати що заважає сталому управлінню лісовим господарством та справедливому доступу до ресурсів підприємствам меблевого сектору і деревообробки. Кінцева мета програми – залучити міжнародних аналітиків, інвесторів та надати їм необхідну інформацію для розробки «дорожньої карти» розвитку нашого лісопромислового сектору.

Вів засідання Орест Кійко – доктор технічних наук, завідувач кафедри технології меблів та виробів з деревини НЛТУ. У якості експерта вказаної програми був присутній Володимир Воробей – виконавчий директор агенції економічного розвитку PPV Knowledge Networks, відомий в Україні по впровадженню бізнес-проектів креативної та зеленої економіки. Координатор заходу – Ольга Мельник, завідувач кафедри зовнішньоекономічної та митної діяльності Львівської політехніки.

Отже перше питання обговорення від Ореста Кійко: «Якою ви бачите ситуацію в лісовому секторі?»

Андрій Вовк (представник кластеру деревообробників) розповів, що деревообробна галузь зараз перебуває в стадії стагнації. Одна з причин – нестабільний курс гривні. Внутрішній ринок перенасичений, 80-90% деревообробних підприємств експортоорієнтовані. На початку року підприємства планували здійснювати діяльність за курсу 28 грн./$, сьогодні – курс 24 грн./$. Різниця в 4 грн. зменшила виручку на суму, що була запланована на виплату заробітної плати працівникам. Коментарі зайві.

По-друге: відсутність чіткого прозорого ринку деревини. Фінансування від держави немає. Лісгоспи виживають, продаючи сировину собі по собівартості, що також негативно впливає на ринок деревини. Крім  того лісозаготівельники, які самі розробляють лісосіки, завідомо знаходяться в кращих умовах. Не врегульований порядок укладання прямих угод між лісозаготівельними та деревообробними підприємствами, тому виникають питання упередженого ставлення і домовленостей.

The department was created in 1986 under the name "Computer Engineering and Process Modeling". In 2014, the department was named "Information Technology" and became part of the Institute of Woodworking and Computer Technologies and Design.

In 2004, the department began training bachelors in the field of "Computer Science". In 2008, the first graduates of the bachelors and at the same time the preparation of specialists and masters in specialty "Information technologies of design".

To date, the department prepares graduates in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology" in the specialty 122 "Computer Science", and in the specialty 126 "Information Systems and Technologies".

To date, the department trains specialists in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology" in the specialties:

  • 122 “Computer Science”
  • 126 “Information systems and technologies”.

The department is preparing masters, graduate students and doctoral students in the specialty 122 "Computer Science".

The staff of the department conducts basic and applied scientific researches on problems:

  • Mathematical modeling and methods of numerical analysis of nonequilibrium physical processes in complex environments, in particular with fractal structure
  • Mathematical and software systems of computer-aided design of thermal engineering objects
  • Information technologies of intellectual data processing

Since the department's existence, five doctoral and 23 PhD theses have been defended by the staff.

Technical support for the educational and scientific process is periodically updated and updated with modern computer technology. There are nine computer classes for the learning process, of which six are training laboratories and the Autodesk Learning Center. All the computers of the department are connected to a local area network and to the Internet.
