On August 12, 2022, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kostyantyn Vashchenko visited the Ukrainian National Forestry University on his working trip. 

Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Zagorskyi expressed his respect and gratitude to the Secretary of State for the time and opportunity to discuss current issues regarding the security situation before the beginning of the academic year. Kostyantyn Vashchenko also thanked the university staff for providing assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since in this difficult time everyone's contribution is important for victory. He presented the state award on behalf of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov – the "Sign of Honor"!
