A bit of history. The company "Häfele Ukraine" is a subsidiary company for the sale of products of the German concern Häfele, which specializes in the manufacture of furniture and carpentry fittings. The main slogan of the company, "Maximum Value of Space," fully corresponds to the focus of their activity on arranging interiors. This approach is relevant in the modern world in the context of constantly growing urbanization. For the global community, the Häfele company is a "must-have" in the field of furniture business.
The lecture session was continued by other specialists of this company, Roman Terno and Serhiy Bocharov, category managers, who fully presented and revealed the possibilities of a wide range of products, starting with furniture handles, fastening hardware, curtain systems, lifting mechanisms, and ending with expensive sliding systems of various functional purposes that are able to satisfy the requirements of the most demanding customers in the shortest possible time. According to Roman and Serhiy, a joke was even born in the community of furniture makers: "If you can't find any hardware, then contact Häfele; they have everything you need."
Next, the floor was given to another representative of the Häfele company, Taras Patik, a graduate of the Design Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine, who, after 11 years of professional activity, already as a business representative, shared his history, knowledge, and education with the students. In his presentation, Taras emphasized the need to use light (the Häfele company offers a wide range of lighting systems) as a new dimension in the interior of furniture, which significantly enriches the appearance of the product and sets the mood and tone in the room. Mr. Taras also noted that in today's world, specialists who are oriented in many technological and design processes are highly valued and called on young people to study hard and always improve themselves.
In the second part of the lesson, students were given the opportunity to improve their skills in installing and disassembling furniture accessories using special devices (conductors) for drilling holes in parts for various types of connections. In addition to getting to know the structure and rules for installing furniture screeds, dowels, and other fastening accessories, the students learned a lot of interesting information, in particular that the well-known "Minifix" and "Confirmat" screeds are proprietary developments of the German company Häfele.
During the entire meeting, it was clearly visible how the students' eyes were burning. They listened with interest to the lecturers' reports, asked questions, and took an active part in the discussion of debatable issues and in the practical part. Some persistent representatives of the student body were even interested in employment opportunities and career growth prospects at Häfele.
At the end of the class, the head of the department of TFWP, Orest Kiyko, together with the community of technology students, sincerely thanked the guests for the interesting performance and the master class. Representatives of the Häfele Ukraine company, in their turn, invited talented young people on a tour of their company. The company also provided the TMVD department with more than 40 samples—models of accessories, sets of devices for forming holes for accessories, active models of LED equipment, and catalogs with Häfele products. The provided samples, accessories, and equipment will be used for practical and laboratory classes on the technology of furniture products.
Cooperation between the department of TFWP and the company "Häfele Ukraine" promises to be fruitful and mutually beneficial; there is an agreement on the arrangement of a kitchen showroom with Häfele fittings at the department of TFWP.
Conclusion: Everyone looks forward to the future with hope, expecting new meetings and mutual benefit from further cooperation.
